I had a Coral Banded shrimp eat mine right up. But then he went on a rampage after my Mandarin~! LionFish~

    live rock

Jwillis, I'm glad to hear your triggers are doing well together but soon they will ,no matter how much rock you have, get extremely crowded and become very stressed. First get your tank cycled than try smaller fish such as clownfish or possibly a pygmy angel. I know it sounds like you can't get...

    live rock

Holy crap. Take those triggers back to the store now. Try a couple damsels. 2 triggers will be crowded in a 29. Also don't try to put another trigger in their, triggers need lots of space. LionFish~

There is no joy in Camelot

I had to take back my Mandarin after 3 weeks because I didn't have enough live rock. It was a real bummer. My lfs sells their Mandarins for 30 dollars a peice no matter what size. But they put my Mandarin in their giant 500 gallon live rock tank~! LionFish~

    Anglers

I wouldn't trust an angler with the Marine Betta. I think the coral Beauty should be alright but anglers have very large mouths. The only fish my LFS puts in with anglers are lionfish. I hope to get an angler when I set up my 150 gallon next summer~! LionFish~

Try a Coral Banded Shrimp. I had the same problem but after I got the shrimp they all were gone. He also ate some of my Aptasia~! LionFish~

    Clowns

I'm not positive your Clowns will die but my percula was doing the same thing and he just died. He became a picky eater and refused the food I gave him. Hope yours don't die too. LionFish~

    Red Gorgian?

I've been looking all over for some information on Gorgians but haven't found any. A friend recently gave me one of these things and I have a couple questions. What am I supposed to feed it? Are they hard or soft corals or are they invertabrates? Also will it grow? Thanks~! LionFish~

    clam?

I'm sure glad I'm not the only one to have one of those little clams in my tank~! My little clam rarely comes out. I've caught him out of his home a couple times but it was late at night. Mine never comes out to the light. LionFish~

    suggestions for fish

In my opinion I would say a Coral Beauty is a great fish all around. Also a Coral Beauty is a heck of a lot cheaper than a Clown Trigger. A trigger also will eat all inverts and is not reef safe. LionFish~

    suggestions for fish

I know that a clown trigger is very agressive. I've seen A large grouper with one. It all depends I think. One clown trigger may be agressive and another one might not. But they are beautiful and if you tame them they become real sweethearts~! I can pet my friend's trigger but sometimes the...

    suggestions for fish

Wow Mr. Salty you got a good deal. We both live in Michigan but yet if I wanted to buy an Emperor Angel it would cost me about $180 for one. Also Mr. Salty how much would you have to pay for a Purple Tang? Over here it costs $100 for a small one. LionFish~

    suggestions for fish

I highly suggest a tang~! There are lots to choose from but some good ones are yellow, purple or a regal~! But never keep a yellow and purple together for they will fight. Also pygmy angels are great. Like ClownFish said a Coral Beauty is a great choice~! LionFish~

    Great starter fish

Clownfish, trust me when I say a Coral Beauty will not pick at corals. Mine is very well behaved and doesnt pick at my corals. You should definitly try one~! LionFish~

    active fish?

I have to agree with Sammy and warn you about cowfish. I know I guy who lost $2,500 worth of fish overnight because his new EEl spooked it really bad. My point is you dont want to active of fish with a cowfish~! LionFish~

    Poll:Stocking my 29 gal. tank

I have just one question, why would you get flamed for having an anenome? I personally have two purple tipped anenomes that are doing fine. Its your choice if you want one but I reccomend an anenome. And I dont care if a person has a problem with what I said or not~! LionFish~

    Aiptasia pics?

I dont have any pics of Aptasia but I can describe them. They are brown and look like an anenome. I know a Copper Banded Butterfly Fish love to snack on them. Also if you have an epidermic needle fill it with scaldind hot water and inject them at the base. But dont do it in your tank or, as I...

    Great starter fish

Hey Fishgirl , a Coral Beauty is a great reef fish~! I'm sure a bicolor angel would be good too. Potters angels I've heard are not that hardy and Flame Angels, although beautiful, can and will eat your coral. I personally would sugest a Coral Beauty. I have one in my reef tank and it doesn't...
