nice...I am looking at getting into SPS too. Others have responded already, but yes, it is perfectly normal to see the mushrooms go from very small to very, very large. I have some that do the exact same thing. Corals are so fascinating!

What type of bulbs do you have in it? CC's need fairly intense lighting but it will probably be fine since there is a decent amount of watts per gallon. That bio wheel isn't going to produce enough water movement. I would stick with zoo's and shrooms, you'll have more luck.

My tank is a tall 37g and I have a 250W MH light. I thought my leather would thrive, but isn't . For awhile it was open and beautiful however after about a week the polyps haven't came out. I've moved it to a couple different positions in the tank in an effort to get it to come back out...
