I also have been, or did put 5 gallons of my tank water in this container. I thought it also might boost the process. I might add another 5 gallons this week. I just take water from my tank, I am not stirring up anything. Any probs with this you think?

Does it matter how much live rock I have with the dead rock? The more live rock the quicker dead will get seeded? Is that true or not?

You have to see this Eco Rox. Its pretty cool stuff. EXTREMELY porous and looks like dead coral. Neat stuff and cheap. I will let you know how the Fiji looks though.

I ordered the Premium Fiji Rock. I am using it to seed about 100 pounds of Eco Rock. Is there something I should do to the LR before I stick it in the bin. I am using a pump for water circulation and a skimmer which I had laying around.

Only problem is I have a lot of coral on these rocks. Plus if I bleach I still have to seed it with something. Anyway, how do you bleach rock? Scrub, soak? What do you do? I assume you don't want to kill everything.

I have plenty of live rock in my current tank but I don't want to introduce it to the dead rock. Reason: I have this brown Zenia all over the rock and DO NOT want it in my new tank. If there is any suggestion how to get this stuff off of the rock I will seed it with this rock.
