    Most of my tanks the overflow is in the middle. You can put it on either side - I guess it all depends on where the tank is for viewing if you have a good side view you don't want the overflow box right there. I use Fusion Krylon to paint the backs of all my tanks, it is actually safe to use...

    Yes - they are easy to silicon in place. A 20L is probably as long as a 29 gallon

    If you are going with a glass tank I would recommend glass baffles, post what your tank size (DT DIsplay Tank) is and the size of a tank you are going to use for the sump - 20L make great sumps.
