    Acrylic tank question

Who has a large acrylic tank and wish it was glass? I'm looking into buying a 180 gallon tank and see a company that will make the kind I'm looking for. It's acrylic. Not sure if I want that. What are the cons of acrylic? I know they scratch, how do you prevent that? Info please.

    I need a New Fish

I like the diamond goby. Its cool to watch and it works hard on your tank. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

    Whats growing in my tank?

OK, I dont have a picture of it yet but it looks like these brown cloves are growing on a piece of my LR. Its not a coral that I bought and its a piece of LR I had since day one. All of a sudden this stuff is growing pretty quickly.

    Would this work?

Would it work to get a canister filter set it up in the tank and instead of running the return back to the tank, run it into a sump? From the sump get a pump and push it back into the Dt. If the power was to go out, the canister would not continue to drain into the sump, am I correct?

    Lighting Suggestion for 46 Bow

Yeah 46 gallon bows suck. But it is what it is. I was told the 250's wouldn't be a problem. Maybe I'll keep looking. I was just about to order a Current USA Sunpod with 2X250watt HQI. I think they make this exact set up with 2 X 150's.

    Lighting Suggestion for 46 Bow

I'm looking for a good set of MH's for a 46 bow tank. Make and model would be great. I'm having a hard time finding a good set for this tank. 36" x 12ish. Don't care how much. Want to keep all kinds of coral. Thanks!

    How is this R/O Unit

Cool Sign Guy, thanks. Another question though....If I wanted to add another canister down the road, to make this even better water what canister would I buy? What would I need? Also if I did do this, all I would have to do is bring my "clean water" line to the next (New)canister, plug it in...
