my umbrella mushrooms look as if they are melting off the rocks and slidding down to the sand is this there way of moving to a better location or is somthing up?

when looking to buy my first master test kit what should it have in it in order to be a complete kit for testing?

any suggestions as to what would be a good clean up crew for a 55gl? i do have about 10 turbo snails and 10 scarlet and blue leg hermits is this enough?
