So we had a nice shaker earlier today here in Orange County, CA which created some nice waves in my 180g, my question is: What can I use to prevent water from sloshing out of the tank without covering the top completely? Thanks
I wanted to quit at 3:00 this morning when my 1" return line came loose and started spraying water all over my living room......again. I won't quit though, I've come to realize that 99% of the problems with our tanks is human error or neglect and the payoff is just too great in my opinion.

Good luck man........
No, I added the foxface to my 180g. My 100g is the one that came down with ich.
I had nitrates in the 160ppm range easily in my 100g. I went down to the 40ppm range by doing 2 50% water changes in 10 days and 20% weekly water changes for 6 weeks. Still in the 40ppm range 3 months later and back to doing by-weekly 20% changes.

1.009 still should have knocked it out by now in all honestly, unless we are just...
Picked up a 40g tank today with overhang filter. Will be filling it up with water from DT and continue treatment there. Should I leave eels in DT or treat them as well. 40g is a tad bit too small for all 3 of them though (its all i could afford at this short notice). Any advice on setting up...
Lost the juvi emperor angel and moved huma out of the DT. Lion shows no signs of improvement. Salinity has been at 1.010 for the last 2 weeks and temperature is at 84. Am i doing something wrong?
