Trate readings are a little lower today (so place between 160 and 80), so hopefully they continue this trend!!! Another 5g water change tonight

Am I going to lose my snails

trying to do everything I can before adding chemicals trates have been the same all day.....even after the siphon

I just looked in my tank and none of my snails are moving.....NONE I hate this hobby

sorry for the crap pictures - the white stuff on the sand bed is pickling lime that I used today to kill some aiptasia

The "cyno" is a dark rusty red. I siphoned it all off of the rocks and sand bed last night and it was back this morning.....I will go grab a picture OT - Candycane, did you ever get my email address?
