$40 for a hippo tang that didn't last too long. I have tried to keep purchases under $40, until I get my 'dream tank' one day, then I am sure the $$$ will increase!

No such thing as a dumb question...we are all learning here! I've just left the chemipure in the tank w/o rinsing and replace it after 4-5 months.

Tank looks great.... Did you end up modifying the stock lights? If so, what did you put in its place? Keep the pics coming!

It been a while since i've posted on the boards....zoie2, talk about timing. I just go rid of a portion of some great liverock from my 29g tank (about 25lbs) . I took down my 29g tank and used what I needed in my nano and sold the rest to a local lfs for $3/lb.

I've bought a sfe from ***** that did pretty good...lived for about over a year until I think some rock falling did it in...poor thing. have also bought a firefish for my nano tank which is doing really well. Luck of the draw..i guess :notsure: Lev

I changed my stock pump in my nano to the maxi-jet 900 a few weeks ago, its great and gives off better flow in my tank without kicking up sand. Good luck Lev

zenway that looks great. have you had any major problems with temperature changes with the 150 MH above your tank. Also evaporation? How much do you add a week? Nice pics

Good to see people from Mass on these boards, even if you dont live here now. I don't blame you for not wanting to add ..well...additives. I would just keep an eye on it. Even if the original was tap..things should balance out as the tank matures. Like I said earlier maybe do a change every...
