I tried the stuff and my water quality is much better, I even add C-Balance. I think it is good stuff, just buy it bulk online or else prepar to pay through the ceiling.

Will these shrimp bother or eat small polyps or xenia? I bought some and it seems like he is earing away at the polyps, also will an emerald crab bother xenia?

Also I use sea lab's formula 28 to keep the tank at a constant. Also I forgot I add iodine once a week.

Does anyone use this stuff, I do i'm just wondering does it really work or is there something better for the same price?

Before I went on vacation about two weeks ago I was getting water from my lfs and I saw these white block from sea-lab or whatever it is but it seemed to be really good I just don't remember which one I had and I was wondering what your experiences with them are? Thanks

I have a prizm and the film is still there, as for the bubbles just turn it down it take about a week or two for it to break in but a month, just try adjusting it. Yeah its a great skimmer but how do you guys get it to get the surfaces tuff off?

I had a similar one that was red and white and about the same size. I kept on loosing fish and stuff so i took it out and ever since then i haven't had any problems.

Yeah i think I am going to get an overflow because I am moving the tank to a stand so I will be able to have a sump setup.

I agree its really good i just wish they made an attachment like the prizm pro so it would skim. It does an amazing job i shouldn't have said stupid sorry.

I saw at a lfs that they had tiny starfish like a dime size and they supposed reporduce like crazy so i recomend putting a ton of those in the tank and some in the sump to reproduce and that is alot cheaper than buying new starfish.

There is a real nasty looking film on the top of my tank, I have no idea how to remove it stupide prizm doesn't have surface skim. So how do you guys deal with it? Thanks

the redness is on the middle of the body of the fish it looks like its veins turned like a brown red.

The fish is like an inch wide and about 4.5 inches in diameter. It swims a lot and eats very well. The color though looks like it has blood clots or something like its veins or something are like a brown/red. He has had this fish for about a year.

A buddy of mine has a 180 and all is well except his yellow tang it has just become huge and fat it is only like 5 inches in diameter. What do u think is wrong with him?

I had the same thing, I bought an emerald about 4 months ago. Until 2 weeks ago i never saw him. I also bought another one and that is when he came out. He is always out now. The other one I bought was killed by a hitchhiker crab.
