Hello!! UV STERILIZER!! i kept saying i didnt need one but my algie problem was getting bad and i tried it. It worked wonderfully!!! i can even keep the blinds pulled giving the tank direct sunlight and there is NO algie in the tank!!!

they do make skimmers that arent hang on. i got one at my lfs and it worked wonderfully in my 15g minni reef/hospital. it acually sits inside of the tank and you use an air pump with a bubble stone inside of it. i do get gook in the cup so i guess its working!

a sump is just a small holding tank that you use for either your wet/dry or refugium. You can buy them pre-drilled, empty, or ready to be used as a wet dry. Basically you can use it for whatever you want including another display if you build a refugium!!!

Hello!! i just ordered an overflow box and it should be here any day now. it said that it is rated for up to 600gph. Now my mag7 is rated a 700gph at zero head but im pushing 4 feet. on the infoemation sheet for the mag7 it states that at 4 feet it will pump about 500gph. do i have a problem?

what about aragamilk. I keep using it but dont notice a difference in growth rate. I use that and reef snow. plus i put 10 drops of iodine into my 55g everyday. Is that good?

about your algie. it should die anyway due to the fact that your cycling the tank not much is going to live at all, let alone grow under those conditions.

fishfreak, thats i use. i just dont get it. Ive tested my tank 2 times now and my nitrites are 0. But the guy at the store read .25 with the dry tabs!!!!
