I have 4 tangs now... I have a yellow tang and yellow belly blue hippo in one tank and these in another. I'm going with the rule of keeping different color/body shaped tangs together but so far everyone gets along fine.

My yellow belly hippo tang and my powder blue tang had ick. They were eating fine and acting fine but I read up on this and thought I would give it a try because I didnt have a quarntine tank. It killed them within 48 hours.

I got some new fish in yesterday, a large powder blue tang, clown tang, another yellow belly hippo, and a blue angel (which is supposed to be a queen). I'll post some pics later...

Well my fish are dropping like flies. I lost my powder blue tang, clown fish, purple dottyback, manderin and I might possibly loose my yellow belly hippo just maybe. All too..........ICK! Whats worse is the yellow belly is the one that brought it and hes the one that is getting better over time...

So its time to put my money where my mouth is. I believe that if you do not have ick in your DT you do not have ick. I have purchased two hippo tangs one being a yellow belly. They are in my established 20g QT/HT (tang police more then welcome to comment) I will start hypo on Saturday...

Just for a reference our yellow tang is called "Yellow Ray" (first one was ray, then we had Blu-Ray - blue hippo, now Yellow Ray) Our Sailfin is "Freckles" Now our new Yellow Belly Blue Hippo needs a cool name... any GOOD ideas?
