Don't know, I have never touched it. But it always looks the same.

Little yellow sponge looking thing on my rock next to my mushrooms. It has yet to move in the months i've had it.

I been watching this grow in my tank, is it bad? Should i remove it or is it safe? I appears to be doubling in size about once every two week.
