i would think that u would still get an ammonia spike, but it would have depended on how u transported it from the store, if it was fully submerged in water i would say it would be small, but if it was exposed to air for more than a few mins i would say that u would have a normal ammonia spike...

yeah i know that the formalin baths will work but i would like to know if i can use hyposalinity to treat the black ich. im more comfortable in the hypo method as i dont always have free time to do formalin baths and it also relieves stress from the inhabitants. cheers :happyfish

the amounts i quoted were aus dollars...we sell powderblues for $150 AUD...see we buy them for the same as u guys but then we need to sell them, and with imports we can lose a few so we up the price more and they just become anywhere from 100-200, but we sell quite alot. i earn bout $400 a week...
