    How to relocate my tank

We drove pretty normal, but yes you need to watch for potholes and the like. I lost water but had backup ready in a bucket.

    Big Tanks!

I would love to see any BIG TANKS that people have. Tanks over like 350 gallons or in the general area, 330's if they are good shots or just real interesting. I saw someone (Bang-Guy) has a 900 gallon lagoon. Anything like that would be wonderfull as well. Thanks.

What is the best reef friendly shrimp?

I have two cleaners and they are a god sent. I have 3 tangs in my 125 and they do their jobs as far as setting up cleaning stations and keeping everyone squeeky. I added the second cleaner about six months after the other and had no problems with them getting along. Very happy with them...

    How to relocate my tank

I think he meant to keep the layers seperate in his refugium. I just moved as well. I moved from central Missouri to Gainesville, FL. about 1000 miles with my 125 SW and 55 south american FW. I agree with the others in taking the sand out. I went to Home Depot and Lowes and got buckets for...

    sand stars on the glass

I floated them and added some water slowly to their bags and then dumped their water and put them in the tank. I have a 125 so I evenly spaced them out along the front sand. They all buried themselves right away. As far as I can tell they seem healthy.

    sand stars on the glass

I just bought 4 sand sifting stars yesterday and I woke up this morning to see a few of them on the glass. As cool as it looks is this okay for them and is it normal? They are in a 125 fish/invert peaceful tank. Any info on the sand sifters would be wonderful. Thanks, Newt

    am i overstocked???

I have a 125g and I feel this tank is too small for my sailfin. I would get rid of him. You could replace him with a yellow or similarly sized tang if you like tangs. My other concern is the eel. with such small fish, they may become lunch some day. Other then that it sounds really nice...

    What car do you drive?

Almost ordered an 04 VW Touareg V8 until I found out more about the V10 Turbo Diesel coming this spring, I'll see how much more that will cost me. Daily Driver right now is an extended cab 1999 S-10. The person earlier said his 91 lumina was going great, my 90 was the "BLUE MAMA" as my college...

    dead naso

Just some advice if you do do some easier fish, don't do a damsel unless you are doing an agressive setup. I have two big ones now and I would like to dive in the tank after them. Within the next couple of weeks I am going to break my rock work down and net those terds and give them back to...

    damsel is dying

if all of your readings are okay (ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate) then maybe as weird as it sounds but do you have a good oxygen exchange? What I mean by that is does your filter have enough power to disrupt the surface of the water to put oxygen in it. I know this sounds simple but sometimes...

Will a yellow tang eat a featherduster?

I was just watching two days ago as my yellow tang picked at the stalk of my feather duster. The tang is well fed but as they are constant graizers I think he was looking for a snack on the stalk. I have had the yellow for about two to three months and just put the feather duster in a couple...
