    Adhesives?

Yes. Just put a glob on the frag and push it against the desired rock. Twist it a bit to break the film that the water created and it should stick fairly quickly.

    Need some purchasing decision help

Some people put eggcrate over their tanks, but I wouldn't because it acts as a light diffuser. I would use pond mesh which you can probably get at Menards, Home Depot, or Lowes. A metal screen would also work, but there might be some heat issues when you try to touch it.

    No Joke HR 669

I went on their website and sent a lengthy email to my representative... I also joined the group on facebook to help battle this. I hope it NEVER passes. It would be devastating to many pet owners and pretty much all pet businesses would die out.

    Emerald Crabs

I noticed quite a bit of bubble algae in my tank and wanted to get an emerald crab as they are supposed to eat it. Some is going away naturally, but there are a few patches that seem untouched. Are emerald crabs totally reef safe? I think I read somewhere that they are known to eat zoas and...

    Need some purchasing decision help

If you were to switch to MH then the hood and glass will have to go. You would definitely need to run MHs over an open tank to prevent overheating. I respectfully disagree about the CC. It has lots of room for detritus to get trapped along with food waste and can cause spikes in nitrates if...

My first attempt at hard coral is failing!

It does look rather unstable as you stated. I would add more live rock and take the chance to re-aquascape the tank to make it more stable.

    ok need something blue...

I wouldn't do damsels... The yellowtail are supposed to be less aggressive but mine killed my sixline within 24 hours of adding him so I would say no to damsels. The coral beauty is a great choice along with a cherub angel. I really like the male leopard wrasses and red head solon fairy wrasses.

    What are these? newfound hitchhiker

It might be a gorilla crab which will kill inverts and small fish. a pic would greatly help identification of all hitchhikers.

Should I cut my feeding to every other day?

I only feed around 3 times a week to eliminate excess nutrients, but still remembering a varied diet to keep the fish healthy and vibrant.

Coral Keepers 180 gallon reef diary.

That's a beautiful tank. I can only hope to be able to afford that someday. That's cool that you have all this when you're 15... I'm 14 and only have a 46, but I still love it.

    montipora?

It would be better to just superglue it to your rock. Just put glue on the bottom and stick it to the rock that you wish to glue it on. Any superglue gel will work and it cures instantly. If it's a big rock, put the glue on and press it on the rock making sure to twist slightly to break the...

    Brain or Bubble????

I think they are both great corals, but I would get a red open brain. I got one yesterday and it looks awesome when you feed it.
