Has any one seen or used the new LED lights? They are supposed to replace MH.

I am new to the saltwater hobby(It doesn't seem right to call it a hobby does it? It's more like a lifestyle.) My tank has been sitting empty for 2 years. Someone told me that the silicone is probably dry and cracked, and the tank may start leaking. Has anyone had this problem?
