    What does everyone test for in reef?

    There are SO many additives available out there, and I know you are not supposed to add anything you cannot test for, so my main question is, in a reef tank, what are the essential items that need to be tested? Currently we have: Ammonia, NO2, NO3, PO4, alkaline, PH, and calcium.

    Back again! Thanks to all last night for the advise!!! We took the advise and added the 4 emerald crabs, WOW they are work horses! I imagine we will have a clean tank by next morning. We also added 4 peppermint shrimp, they are still timid. Hopefully see action tommorrow with the nusance...
