try to find a air oil separators, for your compreser and get one of the spare air tanks used to blow up tires

only if it is an oilless compreser or if you can filter the oil out of the air

yes you can cut them and glue them on a rock i do it all the time. the base of the cut will grow back and the one you glue will start spreding in two or three weeks

try to find a epoxy paint made for the inside of water tanks and to keep any thing from cutting in to the paint i used a 65mil pond liner
