I got some raw shrimp from my restraunt. Im starting a 55 gallong tank with 45lbns of live rock and shrimp. How many peices of shrimp. And how do i know when my tank is completley cycled? I have a testing kit i tested my water the only problem is my ph is too high everything else is...

I have a 55 gallon tank. I set it up yesterday. I first filled my tank with water. Then i added the correct amount of salt. I then let my filter run until the sal dissolved. Then I turned off my pump and poured 40 lbs of sand in. I waited 10 minutes and turned my filter on. Day 2 it clearefd up...

Just put 40 pounds of sand in my 55 gallon tank. VERY cloudy do i let it the filter run or do i let the sand settle.

I bought it from a webstie so it should be cured. WHat does curing it consist of?

When You add Live rock in ur tank do u have to treat it or can it just go right in? Its Fiji live rock ALSO i just started my tank up and put 40 lbs of sand in should i run my filter or let it simmer???????? MY TANK IS VERY CLOUDY!!!
