your shrooms might be ok depending on what type of shrooms they are. purple shrooms are the most hardy. If you upgrade to a 20 gal I would reccomend some good strong pc lighting around 150-200 w (depending on the depth of the tank) and that should be enough to keep most LPS softies and polyps...

first of all I'm not trying to burst your bubble (no pun intended) but ALL of the reefs anywhere close to the keys are protected. so going down there and just plucking a fish off the reef is out of the question, and the chances of you finding a fish that you would want in your tank swimming...

do you have a saltwater tank yet?

all glass aquariums are pretty much the industry standard. Ive never had a problem with mine. and you can find them just about anywhere aquariums are sold, and they come in black or woodgrain finish.

at least go with a 10 gal they are the same price as a 5 gal you can get a 10 gal all glass aquarium at pet co. or wal-mart for around 10 dollars. with a 5 gal you are limited to keeping inverts and (Mabie) a neon goby and thats pretty much it (no firefish) with a 10 gal you have more fish...

all you have to do is resize the image to 500x500 pix. and go to the bottom of the reply page and click on attach file / Browse find the file in your hard drive and click attach file. (I use a mac so Its going to be a little bit diff. )
