    Start-up

Not that much live rock. If you plan to get more I advise doing it now while your tank is still new. The live rock will also add as a biological filter in your tank. Adam

    live sand?

Me along with most people to would advise you to get rid of the cc and just use ls. When you eventuall have to chuck the cc the cc and ls would have mixed so you would have to chuck both. Having crushed coral under a sand bed also creates an area for pockets of toxic gasses to form. Adam

Buying and moving a 75 gallon tank

For moving the water go to a hardware store or wal*mart and get new gasolline cans. When you are done rinse them out good and return them. This is what my friend did. Package everything seperatly and do not feed the fish or invets within 36 hours of move date. Red algae can be taken care of that...

They are Eibl's not Eibli. They are also known as orange stripe. The Eibl's is reef safe. I had one for a while but it came down with a blennie I bought brought in. Mine was great at controling unwanted algae and had the best personality. Adam

A few weeks ago my friend and I netted minows and crayfish for the marsh across the street. Well I put everything in a 5.5 gallon tank with a sponge/charcole filter some algae, seawater, and sand and ther tank is doing fine. No deaths. Just thaught I'd mention it. Adam :D

    algae !

Everyone goes through this. Just be patient. Because your tank is still new do not add snails. Hermits are fine but I had problems with mine. They always ate what I wanted of algae, even a coral every once in a while. I keep mine in the sup to clean. I do feed them every other day and take them...
