I dont wanna crash the party but i hope you know that octos are really hard to keep and that they hardly/almost never live past 2 years in the home aquarium (not your fault, just the octos lifespan). Have fun though and i would love to see some pictures!!!!!!!!!!! :joy:

Jcrim, clown trigger are pretty agressive and theres a high chance of them eating inverts. Crosshatch and blue throat triggers a more peaceful trigger.

Wow! I would love to see your tank when its done! As for filtration i would MOST definitly get a skimmer and for sumps, they are optional BUT i would definitly reccomend one. It really depends on your fish u have in the tank for inverts, i have a niger trigger and a goldentail eel and they dont...

Yeah its brown algae. The last pic could be pods or worms ( i forgot the name of them but they are in a very very tiny shell, not harmful at all)

i would maybe clean the pump out, mine did the samething, all i did was just clean the pump and it was back producing foam

Listen people of saltwaterfish, its best for you to not listen to him and ban him, he will get people pissed off here. He told me too get rid of my tank and quit this hobby. He will tell you this too.

snowflake eel will not be too big for a 55gal. Listen everyone AW2 gives out bad advice most of it is BS
