surfinusa you already have the ray too huh, there was a member on here that had a few in their 300 gallon and they got to big so they gave him away i think iw as the only one that had 2 cali rays in my 300 , the reason i gave them away wasnt because of their size,, my 300 was perfect for them...

honestly not only do i respect you for doig this , but i beleive you are the first person i personaly have ever seen that has made a mistake with a shark/ ray and actually did the right thing and is taking him back because you know you dont have all the proper requirements for him... and...

bump your salinity to 26.. it may seem liek a sall change to you but a huge change to a starfish.. also if your using a hydrometer do yourself a favor and get a refractometer because those hydrometers are junk and what you may think is 24 may only be 22

its illegal withotu a permit for one,, second what would you do once it reaches around 8 feet or so? if you release it back into the wild this is also illegal not to mention the animal would surely die, not being able to pick up where it left off.. they sharks also might be bonnetheads not...
