    triggers?

It's weird, I've had 2 clown triggers before (not at the same time though) and both were sweethearts.....I had a Picasso Trigger in there with them and he was a holy terror. Nigers are pretty mellow for triggers, so are pinktails. Undulated, blue-lines, and queens would have to be the worst.

Heres how to REMOVE ICH from FISH safely!

mujtba, I thought maybe you had called the company and asked them......but then, they might not tell you anyway because it would be giving away their "trade secret" I know that when you have a fish in hypo the ich literally burst due to the low salinity and osmotic concentration.....but if...

Heres how to REMOVE ICH from FISH safely!

mujtba, Thanks, but that is exactly what I thought they were saying, so I didn't misinterpret, I just question that statement from them......I would like to know exactly how it removes ich from the sick fish. Do you know?

Heres how to REMOVE ICH from FISH safely!

o2ngk, I agree completely.....as I stated several times, I really believe the original poster was genuinely trying to be helpful. If it seems like it helped, then I say great! If it added more slime coat to a fish, that in itself is a good thing. I have more of a problem with the company...

Heres how to REMOVE ICH from FISH safely!

fish4ever, Well, I never said it didn't work for him.....in a previous post, I speculated as to why his solution may have worked.......I just know it didn't work for me, unfortunately.....there have been several inaccuracies in this thread, one of which being that ich is an invert which it is...

Heres how to REMOVE ICH from FISH safely!

fish4ever, I think you're confusing "arrogance" with "opinion"....look, the original poster came on here in what I believe was a spirit of helpfulness and related their experience with a particular product. That's their right....I'm glad he posted it. However, my personal experience with this...

Heres how to REMOVE ICH from FISH safely!

Every time I read threads like this, it reminds me of an argument I got into with the "veteran" at my LFS......this was several years ago.....he was getting onto me for taking my fish (mostly tangs) out of the display and into a QT tank.....he said that it was useless because the ich would still...

    What type of shark?

I would definitely go with a closed loop in a shark/ray tank, for a couple of reasons. 1) the shark/ray will either bump the powerhead, get tangled in the power cord, or worse yet, bite the power cord, and 2) sharks are VERY sensitive to electromagnetic impulses, all the way to 1 millionth of...

    Pacific Coast 1/2hp chiller, Texas

I'm selling my Pacific Coast 1/2hp chiller, model C-050. It works great but is just not big enough for my tank, a 480gal with 100gal sump. I bought it used...the guy I bought it from said it was 2-3 years old......it's in pretty good shape and runs great. Asking $550 plus shipping......I paid...

    What type of shark?

On my 480 I had them "round-off" the overflows by putting them in the corners at a 45 degree angle, thus minimizing the amount of 90 degree angles in the tank.....it's not true rounding but it's close.....sharks/rays don't much appreciate 90 degree angles......just a thought for your tank design.

    What type of shark?

psusocr1, Yeah, I know what you're talking about.....and I wasn't directing my post to anyone except the original poster....I just wanted to relate my experience so far with sharks....I really love mine, he is beautiful, surprisingly agile yet powerful, and is my favorite tank inhabitant......I...

    What type of shark?

    I set up my 480gal for a shark/ray combination.....it's 8' long, 2' tall, and 4' front-to-back.....after I set it up I thought "man this is a huge tank, I can put anything I want in it".....well after a few tangs/foxfaces/tusk I added a 9" yellow ray....all of a sudden the tank didn't look quite...
