    New Hammer!

You should really do some research on the specimens before you buy them, that way you can enjoy them for a long period of time, and so you dont' get fustrated when they die or don't do well. Just lookin' out for a fellow "Reefer".

You u should use a shrimp trap. Sold at most online vendors. I used them once or twice to catch some mantis shrimp. I hate those guys.

    New Hammer!

I have MH over mine and each of my branches are the size of softballs. I beleive he said 28 watts total, which is way to low, 3 watts per gallon for any reef tank should be the minimum. He should atleast have 60 watts of VHO or PC lighting overall.

    New Hammer!

No that wattage is not good at all!!!! Hammers like moderate lighting with moderate flow, maybe 4-5 watts of metal halide lighting per gallon at the least. You should really upgrade soon or give it to someone that can support this coral, If you do upgrade, you should feed it weekly in the form...

    Hitchiker.. plz identify this star

It kinda looks like a Tamarisk Sea Star(Tamaria sp.), and from what I can see that star has six legs, and Tamarisks sometimes can have six legs. And if it is a Tamarisk, they are very reef safe, so it should be fine in your tank.

    ID this anemone please.

Need a better close up picture to truely tell, but from that I can see it kinda looks like a Bubble-Tip. If it is a Bubble-Tip the chances of an Ocellaris of hosting it is very great. Next time you might wanna put this thread in The Clownfish&Anemone Board, you will get alot more responses.
