Can anyone tell me why the water on the top of the tank is kind of murky and filmy. It is only on one half of the tank and Im beginning to think that it is because I dont have any powerhead circulation up there. Could this be it or could it be something I am missing. Thanks

I dont have any corals yet. As soon as I upgrade my lights I will get some. This is a long term process and I am moving very slowly. However, I feel that when I do get corals, they will take full advantage of the higher calcium levels and the tank will balance out.

How long has your tank been up? I believe that if there is copper in the tank than this could cause inverts to die. If not maybe you need to take back some of your cleanup crew and balance out the tank. Algae produced vs. number of cleanup crew. S
