    what corals can I keep

The cc star is not reef safe, of course you could probably keep one for months without any problems. But then again, you could come home and not have any corals left. Well they don't eat that fast, but you get the picture. you can keep most all soft corals with what you have. zoos and...

    My 24gal

Don't mean to be blunt, and i've never kept sunpolyps....but they will die if not spot fed. I'd spot feed with frozen foods every other day. Like stated i've never kept them but i have looked into getting some. I hear a good trick to feeding them is using a two liter bottle with the bottom cut...

would like to start a frag setup

sounds like a fun little project, i'd get a little aquapod or something like that. reason being, its got enough light for softies and having a top like they have you will have less evaporation and less top off.

    alk issue

my point was, i'm sure baking soda isn't that much of a difference than the kent stuff(as in price). it also lasts a long time. a two part cal and alk wouldn't work for me, my cal starts in the five hundreds, and alk around 2meq/l. so the superbuffer-dKH has worked amazing. of course now i'm...
