My LFS sells something called Texas holey rock. It’s white when it is dry, turns gray when wet and has lots of holes and nooks and crannies. I bought some the other day and my fish love it. I dont know if it is sold everywhere but it might work for you. :)

Looks like an acropora to me but I am no expert. I have just put a peppermint shrimp in my tank to see if it will eat the ones I have growing. I also bought some Joe's Juice and plan on trying that also but I thought that I would give the shrimp a chance to have a meal first. :)

Just bought a Rena XP3 filter system for my 125g fish only. It is pretty cool because it is all self contained and easy to maintain, change filters,… I have not seen or heard anything about them until I ran across one in the store. I was just wondering if there are any draw backs to them or...

I have heard that they will also eat feather dusters. We started to get one but the guy at the store recommended that we not put a feather duster in with our arrow crab. Now that I see he also will pick on shrimp and others I will keep an eye on him for sure.

I had one of mine disappear too until I looked on top of the tank and found him dead on the lid. He apparently thought the algae was greener on the other side... :eek:

I have been using distilled water for a while now. I can get it for around 50 cents a gallon at wally world (aka Wal-Mart) and it has worked great for me. I have a fish only tank so I don’t know if there would be a problem with anemones or corals.

What is T-5? I looked at the halogen bulbs but they put off a lot of heat and the top to my tank does not allow for much room between the top of the tank and the lights. I’m afraid that it would get way to hot and also evaporation would be a problem. I talked to one guy who uses halogen bulbs...

Oh the price we pay to keep a bunch of fish happy $$$$$ :rolleyes:
