I know it's been asked, but I couldn't find it in a search. What is the best test kit for Calcium, Alk, and Phos?

Do clowns like company of their own kind?

Hope you stacked your rocks before the sand was added. The pistol shrimp / goby pair will dig near a rock and don't want you're rock to collapse.

    Name this light!

If you're going to replace them, make sure you pull them out of the socket and check to see if they are square pin or straight pin. I have 4x65 watts over my 90 but only plan on growing softies right now.

    Feeding Fish

Are you wanting a "peaceful" or "aggressive" type FOWLR? In my experience (and from looking around, it happens to most people) the tank usually doesn't stay FOWLR for long, eventually a coral or two is added. If you're even having the slighest though of adding a coral, make sure the fish you add...

    Butterflyfish

I'm sorry, but post like these make me Instead of indangering the lives of 2 fish and just buy them because they're pretty, why not research the information first? You don't know what they eat, if they're compatible, or how 'hardy' they are. Not trying to bash you, just can't figure out how...

    Koralia vs. Maxi Jet

I only run Koralia in my tanks. Have 2 #2's and just added a #4 to my 90gal. They have a wider flow so they hit everything.

I lost everything in my 150

Doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't they have a backup for something like that, especially being a nuclear reactor?

    Freshwater?

I bought my tank from a guy that had it set up as a planted tank (didn't last too long with me). He was running 4x55 watt PC lights with 2x6700k bulb and 2x7800k blubs, Flourite substrate and dosed Flourish Excel.

    strange, anyone know? unusual

If it was truely a Peppermint, they like to hid at times especially if he just molted. You wont see him until you start taking out rock and he will just pop out of nowhere. You should be able to tell the difference in a Peppermint and Camelback. Camelback: Peppermint:

    low budget shark pool possibly?

Curious to know why you would want a kiddie pool setup vs saving for a DT? If it were me, I would invest in something I can see the shark fully then to only be able to see the top of the shark. A guy I use to know use to fish and sell shark and had a kiddie pool setup with a 2-foot shark (can't...

I lost everything in my 150

You live in a suburb of Chicago right? It makes sense for them to restore power to a MAJOR city first before restoring power to a suburb. I agree with srfisher17. IF you even get the money back (and you're saying alot of others are going to be in on it too), expect more of an increase in your...

Is your tank open? What lighting are you using? I have a 90g tank with a 29g sump with open top on each with 4x65 PC lights and usually have to top off 2-3 gallons every 2 days.

    biggest fish

The rule of thumb for FW is 1 inch per gallon. I would say in SW 1 inch per 3-4 gallons? Make sure you think about displacement from your rocks and sand.
