    Fearless

my local fish store always has triggers in stockThere is this extremely shy undulated triggerfish that has been in there for at least 3 months. He is very lazy, too. On occasions, he follows your finger when you put it close to the glass. I feel sorry for the feller. I'm sort of crazy with smilies.

    55 gallon FOWLR "diary"

I'm getting psyched!!!!!!! So far, I have 15 lbs of LR for my tank.(Still holding in 15 gallon.) I bought two 20 gallon quality live sand bags, and put the contents in the 55 gallon. The temperature of the water is in the mid 70's, so it has warmed up. I will put the live rock in soon!

    Starting a 50gal aggressive FOWLR

Maybe a leaf scorpion, or rogue fish. A really cool looking fish compatible with these fish is a stonefish called the orangebanded stingfish. Lions and scorpions aren't as compatible with other fish as some people want to believe. Maybe if you take the lion fish out of your list, you could...

    55 gallon FOWLR "diary"

My 55 gallon is almost ready to hold the live rock. I plan on putting a few small chromis in the tank first to see if the tank is fully cycled. If they survive, I will move my ocellaris clown to the tank. I will buy a yellow wrasse a week later. Then, I may buy a small goby.

    Flame angel/snowflake eel/Blonde Naso Tang/Zebra Lionfish/Sailfin scorpionfish

I'm sorry. You just cannot put those fish altogether in a 55 gallon. Naso unicornfish can't be housed in anything under 120 gallons. The eel can be kept in a 55 gallon, but only by itself or barely any other thing in the tank. You can certainly put a flame angel in the tank. But, you will have...

    55 gallon FOWLR "diary"

This is a blog to update fellow aquarists on my 55 gallon FOWLR. I want to show you guys if I could do a well established tank or not. I bought some live rock for my tank. I put the rock into my 15 gallon tank until it is ready to be put in my 55 gallon.

    aggressive/predatory fish in biocube 14

I say you can put maybe a leaf scorpion in it. But, I must admit, 14 gallons is a very tiny bit of a stretch for any of the very small scorpion fish. I would recommend a good amount of live sand, more frequent water maintenance, and enough live rock so that it could filter wastes nicely, yet...

    less biofiltration than expected. help.

All right, what about this I buy 20-25 pounds of live rock, cycle my tank, then I add my ocellaris clown from my 15 gallon and add my live rock from my 15 gallon to my cycled tank. I won't include the angel in the tank. I will also get one of the filters you guys recommended. So I could have a...

Well, i will look up the filter you recommended. Also, I do not think that my LFS has base rock. I think it only sells fully cured Fiji live rock that sells for around $6.00 a pound

All right, so maybe I would cut out on a few fish and then add one that is compatible with the remaining fish but generally aren't with the fish I take out. So, maybe I will make this my current stock list: 1* Valentini puffer.(My LFS has a lot of valentini puffers) 1*Yellow wrasse 1* Damsel. (...

    less biofiltration than expected. help.

Alright, so here is the deal. I was originally was wanting to get 40 lbs of live rock for my 55 gallon for x-mas. But, I have to cut down in live rock since my relatives will not spend like $300 on live rock. So that means I will have only like, 25 lbs of Live rock, Meaning less filtering of...
