mine has a terrible time keeping down frozen krill. He is always spitting out some of what i gave him. It works out great because my niger is right there and happy to take whatever he doesnt' want.

Can see signs of disease so it can be treated or dealt with in other ways before adding to the display tank. Great for spotting signs of ick.

If you have only invested in a cheap swing arm hydrometer, it will not work for performing hyposalinity. When you have a refractometer you can get deadly accurate readings for normal salinity measurements, and a device capable of providing the needed saline reading to carry out hyposalinity...

I have a medium sized three stripe that survived about a week in a cycling tank in the ammonia stage. They can be hardy.

I have a 4.5" huma huma, 4.5" niger, and about a 14" snowflake eel in a 90. I'm looking for opinions on what the outcome will be of adding a 2.75" undulated.

I have a 4.5" one in a 90 and it seems like a great size for it right now. When it gets large i'm going to get rid of it or upgrade though. I dont think putting a niger over 7 inches in a 90 will cut it.

To start out i would get a 55 going and get one small trigger. If you plan to have multiple in your larger tank you should pick them carefully. If you want to be safe check out some of the planktonic triggers. Or you could try a humu humu and niger. Thats one of my favorite trigger...

i beleive the ich parasites can survive saline conditions down to 1.011...thats why its important to get it down to 1.009. I got mine down to 1.008-1.009 and the treatment worked excellent for me on a humu humu and a niger trigger.

Mine is about 14-15" and i just have not taken the risk of putting it in with inverts. The only aggression it has shown is during feeding his bad eye site sometimes causes him to mistake a trigger for a piece of food.

all i can say is soak your frozen food in garlic and see if that gets him eating.
