just a quick word i figured out what was wrong. the starfish just needed more sand, if anyone has one of these take my advice and put down at least 3 inches of fine grain sand like caribean white sand or bermuda pink sand. if the starfish can not hide it'self in the sand it gets very stressed...

what does a starfish look like when it's starving? i have a sand sifter star and he have these ridges in the middle of it's arms, it still looks healthy i think. if anyone has pics of a sand sifter star please post them i would like to see what others look like.

how big are emerald crabs supossed to get? i have one that is at full span around 3 inches, it's body is anout 1 1/2 inches wide and his claws are huge. put together they equal his entire body size. i was wondering if he will get any bigger and how big other peoples have grown.

a cleaner wrasse would be the best thing but don't buy one look for a large neon goby.

i wouldn't get another watchmen i would get a hi-fin or yashea goby. that way there would be no territory disputes. i had a similar question and the responses i got were why not just get another pistol shrimp and goby.
