I'm getting white thread like things on the glass. They are about 1/8th in length. I sponge them off and the next day the're back. All my test are coming back a-one.The fish are healthyand nothing is on them.Couldn't get pic wouldn't show up. Can anyone come up with something? :help:

What about water sold in store and in 5 gal. jugs? Some of this sits for months in clear containers.I've never had anyone return rotten water.

I'm setting up a Kent ro/di unit with a SpectraPure float kit to shut waste and product water. The instruction are not clear on hooking up the ASO valve.One side is somewhat restricted and the other one flows thru.One is for the carb. filter to the RO mem. the other for prod. water to DI cart...

I have the Sea clone 100. It works great.3/4s of a turn a couple of days and it started to work.More so after i started feedings.

I ordered 85 lbs. of LR from this site and am very happy with it.It is cured and was clean when i got it. Within a week things started to grow. I have all sorts of plant life with new stuff growing every day.Before i put it in the tank idid a high saltwater rinse to kill off any unwanted pest.

Thanks for the reply.I don't know what the coils are made of. but it has to be some kind of medal.I didn' think of that.

Is there anything wrong with using water from a dehumidifier? It would have to be better than tap.No chems.or other additives.

I'm waiting for my tank to cycle too.Just checking the rock everyday to see what pops up keeps me content.

I got my LR from this site.It was nice and clean and within days of puting it in the tank it started sprouting life.I just order my sec. batch.
