my lfs has started to carry this frozen" baby brine shrimp" cubes, i have been using it for about two weeks now, my corals love it. they seem to be opening up more lately. if you see this product, give it a try. i am using it with DT's.

to me a show piece is if it looks better to me then the other. if you cant see a difference in the two corals why would you pay more? dont be fooled by "labels" its your tank. make it look like you want it to.

i have a umbrella leather that is starting to develop these scabs on it . they are yellow and right now they are just on the head, looks just like a scab, about 1/8" big. what are they? and what do i do about this?

are you sure its tar. i had live rock that had black tar looking stuff on it before, it was dead coral and other dead stuff stuck together. it smelled really bad. looked just like tar, but i was not. i just removed it by scrapping it off and cycled it. looks great now.

i have found out , that direct feeding of brine and formula one(frozen) thawed works great. i have them now for 5 mths. easy to keep, for me anyway. feed them twice a week.

does anyone have any idea how to get in touch with coralife? i have two pc bulbs that have burst at the end in the last 6 months. they are covered so that no water can come in contact with them. i want to replace them. thanks

it says up to 100 gal but most people use it for 40 or smaller

you do not actually have to modify the stand to support it. just cut the 2x4 so they are a tight fit on the inside of the stand. one in each corner and two in the middle, front and back. and then just slide the 2x4 in place, should be a tight fit. no nails. thus you are not really mod. the stand

i went a on a tuna fishing trip last week, as the deck was cleaning the fish he found one of the tuna had roe(fish eggs) . he took some of this and and the fed the bait fish with it. great idea! i took some home froze it in a ice cube tray. fed one portion to the tank and the corals the next day...

i bought two of those batt operated pumps, cant hurt, also look at computer battery back up systems to run your powerheads. some of them run for four hours or so. just check the power the put out to insure they can run your powerheads. i have one that puts out enough to run my ph for two hrs.

i used kick ich once, with no ill effects on my corals. i did keep the skimmer going during treatment. just took longer that way. it worked great. if you have a ich problem try using the garlic treatment it also works.please correct me if i am wrong, but i noticed that brains do better on the...
