I bought some mrs. wages pickling mix I was wondering if that is the same as pickling lime?? it dont say pickling lime on the pack it just says pickling mix and its an orange greenish color when mixed....I've read where it will help keep your dkh up thought I would try some....any help very much...

I have a Aqua Clear 75 wet/dry running on my 55 gal I was running a Cap 1700 pump but it went out awhile back so I just bought a new Rio2100 it seems to be too much it either wants to over flow my tank or if I test for power outage it will overflow my sump....anyone ever have this problem??

I have a 5 stage RO unit and have used it for years about 5 months ago I changed the membrane well I was getting plenty of RO water til about a month ago now it takes me about 2 days to get 5 gal. of RO water....has anyone had this problem before or can someone please tell me what the problem is???

my RO water is fine before I add the salt and after the water change everything is fine but the next day everything is low then its just add and add mag. DKH and calcium every other day til the next change

anyone using this salt having trouble keeping parameters up lately using this salt?? I cant seem to keep mine up...just wondering if they made a bad batch?? any help very much appreciated

I have one and it works great!!...never have had a problem with red slime maybe you need to treat your tank with CHEMI-CLEAN that should take care of your red slime

yes I go to the Oceans Floor in Greenville a good bit as a matter of fact may go today they have a great variety for around here and I also like to go to Atlanta over to The Fish Store & More now if you can't find what you need there then you don't need it...LOL

its a 55 gal. oceanic I also have a wet/dry a seaclone 150 skimmer and about 50 lbs. of live rock just started having this hair algae problem about 3 months ago tank has been up for about 3 years also my nitrates went up to between 40&60 ppm hopefully the matrix will help with that I also have...

recieved my phosban reactor and matrix today hopefully now I can get this hair algae under control....what do you think??:D
