I use RO water but I don't do anything to it. Then I check my salt and adjust accord...just pour in to the sump and let it "melt" on the filter. What is the reason for the "sit" time???

I do run a skimmer but I have a bit of "mud" in the bottm of the sump. It has been up about three years. Tell ya all what...if you read this give me a thumbas up if you clean and a thumbs down if you don't...I'll go with the numbers on FRI the 30th.

Do you or should you clean the sump on tanks?
