He took the water out and just left the rocks in there to dry (about a month ago) and now they smell a little like mold. I think I even saw some fuzzies on them. So do I just throw them away and start over when I bring the tank home.

Thanks to all who wrote. I smelled it tonight and it smell like wet mold I think I even saw some fuzz on it. It is all just sitting in the tank and drying. I have learn a lot and I just started on this site and I just love it.

Ok I am about to buy a 200 gallon saltwater tank from a guy that already has it set up. I was wondering if you have any tips for me when it comes to moving it. It has live rock in it now. I have had big tanks for a while but this will be my first saltwater tank.
