I actually took a piece of quarter inch plywood and cut it to fit between the plactic rails and painted that black

took me 2 days and about 40 bux to build it I used maple hard wood flooring for the design with a 2X4 and plywood skeleton

I am thinking a pair of clown and a scopas tang and maybe a few bangai cardnials

lol the furthest I have thought ahead is fish and corals lol

yeah well I have plenty of time to get it cleared up lol and those were taken this morning

here is the beginnings of my 40 breeder note the sexy stand I built out of hardwood flooring right now it has about a 2 inch sand bed and about 23 lbs of LR I have a sub current in tank filter and two other filters running to get the water movement plus a hydor powerhead

hmmmmmmmmm wonder if they have it at the local home crappot I guess I will have to talk to reefkeeperz about that

alot has changed in my tank I will try to post new pics soon

I am in the process of setting up a 40 gallon breeder reef tank I have the tank a set of 36 inch 196watt current PC lights and I built the stand I am gonna get 30 lbs of dead sand and 20 lbs of live to start the cycle untill I start putting livestock in the tank is a protein skimmer necassary?
