    Ready to buy RO/DI unit

I can fill a 20 liter jug in about 3 hours. As for filters, I just ordered extra filters and DI beads at the time of purchase. A case will last you about 5-10 years or so depending on usage. Aquasafe is the brand. Excellent product.

    Ready to buy RO/DI unit

Go for the cheap 100 GPD "Aquarium" unit on the auction site I think it's on for $99 US. You get a free PSI Gauge and a free TDS Meter. Add the faucet adapter and just fill jugs from your faucet whenever you need. It's a 6 stage unit and works really well. I'm very happy with mine.

    micro bubbles from skimmer

I'd double-check to make sure it's level. Left to right and front to back. Other than that you might have to deal with it or get a sump with baffles. My Remora gives out a small amount of bubbles to the tank. I've just learned to live with it. I feel better having zero Nitrates and a few bubbles...

    Good alternative to Turbo snails

My snails fall over all of the time! I'm constantly uprighting them so they don't die. I like the Margarita snails... Seem to do a better job than the Astreas.

    Beware of the "Jebo"

I've had the Jebo Odyssea 36" PC's for several months now and haven't had a single issue with them. I do think you have to lower your expectations a little when you're paying so little for lights. How can you expect it to be the same quailty as a lighting system worth twice as much? It's 10...

    Pc Lighting?

I've got the odyssea 36" pc's. I agree that the fans are cheap and will probably need to be replaced eventually. The only other thing that I don't like about them is that there's no seperate switch for the actinics. There's only 2 switches. 1 for the moonlights and one for the tubes. 3 switches...

    AquaC Remora Protein Skimmer User

Mine does. Some times are worse than others. Good skimmer though. I'd rather have some bubbles and clean water than no bubbles and poorer water conditions. I hear the pre-filter box helps some, if you've got the room for it.

How does this Fish wish-list look?

I have just finished cycling my 35 gallon with 17 lbs. of un-cured live rock, 17 lbs. of base rock & a 3-4 inch sand bed. Here's what I'm considering populating my tank with. (One fish per month, of course). Any ideas, opinions or additions would be greatly appreciated. A few Blue Legged Hermits...
