So I found a great deal on one of these locally, Im picking up a 125g tank and he has this also. Are thse good? How much would you pay for a used one? its rated for a 125-250g tank. My 125g is going to be pretty highly stocked will this cut it?

So is a closed loop more beneficial? Will it eliminate the need ro powerheads? what are the pros and cons of closed loop? The tank is already pre-drilled and setup for closed loop. Im just wonderinf if I should get it or not.
