I am new saltwater aquarist and my cycling on my saltwater tank is just about over. The algae is real bad and a lot of brown algae on the glass. After the cycling is over and I do my water change should I buy some snails or a sand sifter? What is your Opinion?

i thought damsels were for cycling tanks though. When should I do my first water change.

2 should be sufficient. one on one side one on the other. I would put them on a timer and let one go for fifteen minutes than let the other go for fifteen minutes.

I just got finished putting up my saltwater aquarium and i was told that I can go ahead and add damsels to circulate my tank. Is that ok? I was also told to test all the nitrites and ammonia 2 weeks after I put in the fish. Is that about right. My saltinity level is 1.020.
