    Dfw Lfs

Randy's on Hwy 26 is great. Do you guys never go to Pet Village? They are very good. The guy that runs Saltwater Paradise is a jerk and they are way over priced.

    Getting started

I appreciate the replies. That's just it, you know more than I. I want a good way to get my feet wet with minimal loss. I do have a sump and I can get any kind of lighting. This is why I asked. What is easiest to begin with? Is that still too broad?

I am getting an 80 bowfront soon and will be going back to sand. Since I have been advised not to vacuum the sand, what clean-up crew would you guys suggest? Thanks for the help. Oh, and it doesn't matter what fish I have, I just want to hear opinions as to who does the best job. :)

I used a test kit, but after further inspection, I saw that it was 3 years old. Would that really make a difference?

Let me hear the pros and cons

Well, before I knew better, I treated my tank with copper. Instead of moving the fish to a qt, but I could never get rid of the ammonia. Anyways, I know alot more now and I just want to hear what everyone else has had luck with.

Let me hear the pros and cons

I have crushed coral and want to go back to a sand bottom. I have heard that the crushed coral breeds algae and what not, but I also had a bad experience with sand one time. That's why I got rid of it. Let me hear some of your thoughts on this. It is a 55 gallon with a panther grouper, lion, and...
