Hey - I have had a small reef tank for about 3 years - not much in it but some anenomes, pumping xenia and some button polyps...anyway - I have nopticed some very dense weblike looking stuff on one of my rocks. It also has extremely tiny things moving it it...is that bad?? What is it?

What is better at this point... I have two bubble tip anemones, a rock of yellow polyps, red button polyps, and a small cluster of pumping xenia. what is going to be the best supplement between the two products?? :confused: :confused:

what do you mean buy a monster. it's about the size of a bowling ball. is it to big for a 55 gallon. I actually am setting up a reef tank. I heard that it's not good for a reef what should I do

I have heard of people feeding there anemones like 2-3 times a week. and I have also heard that people don't feed them. should I be feeding mine and what can I feed him.

so will a big anenome like this one scare a clown away it was just a good price it's about the size of a bowling ball and it was 35 bucks so I thought I would try it out. or does anyone know the anenome of choice for baby percs

O.K. quick question I have two percula clowns and I just got a very large saddle carpet they are avoiding it does it take them awhile to warm up to it or will they not ever take cover in it when I bought it there was on all over it there is a pic attached

I can't see any legs or anything they look just like tiny bubbles that swim around

well not really like I said they are about the size of a pin dot. this pic is about as close as I can get without them blurring

My reef has been established for about a month know and I have noticed some little white tiny bugs crawling aroung on the glass. they are about the size of a pinhead. today they are about a 1000 of them free swimming in the water. what are they and how could I get them out of the tank

yes - the worms things are very fine, brownish red/white striped, the mucous doesn't get sucked back in - just blown out into the water. I have attached a picture:confused: :confused:

Hey - we purchased some live rock and we are noticing some white worm looking things embedded in the rock holes that have finger-like projections coming from them that are very tiny. They pull small pieces of stuff into the hole. Every now and then a white mucous gets ejected from it. What is it...

if I were to replace the 10,000 k bulb with a vho would that be enough

they did sell some vho but they said I could run that set up and It would save me some money

hello every single company on-line sells a different variety of cleaner crew packages, which ones do the best, and actually loook cool and how many of each do I need to do a 55 gallon reef with 65 lbs of rock I have just seen packages with like 30 crabs, 15 star fish, 30 snails, 15 hermit crabs...

hello everyone I have a 55 with 65 lbs of live rock. everything that I have read on-line says I need VHO or metal halide bulbs to do anenomies and corals the folks at my local fish store said I could use a 40 watt actinic and a 40 watt 10,000k super daylight bulb. So I got them as well as a 40...

so I've had this white moss problem with a lot of my live rock I scrubed it off with a toothbrush and it looks better does anyone no if I should leave the lights off of the tank will that help keep that moss away. and is scrubing it off even going to help
