Would somebody be kind enough to describe what symptoms a fish with HLLE can exhibit? Also, what exactly is HLLE, and how do you treat it? I don't have any sick fish, (that I know of) but was hoping somebody could provide more infomation on this for me. Thanks in advance!

I disagree with your LFS about the tang growing slowly. I got one about 2 months ago @ 2" and he is already 3"!!!! Mine, at least, is growing like a weed in my yard! I better hurry up and get my new 150 gal going (stupid lighting-hell quandry slowing me down) so he has room to swim around in...

You could purchase some ice packs pretty cheap. Freeze them, and put them in the tank to lower temp. While you have 2 in the tank, make sure you have 2 in the freezer, that way you can swap them when the ones in the tank thaw out. That should help keep the temp down in the tank. I haven't had...

My Diana Hogfish immediately took to digging this huge hole under by one of the base rocks in the tank. Strange thing is, that isn't where the fish sleeps nor where it usually hangs out. But every so often, there it is, making the hole larger. Quite amusing :cool:
