most people that have a small nano likes to watch the corals grow so they are put in very small and the small ones will blow around and move

i have used one of those bulbs and yes you can keep some soft corals and shrooms

one thing that i have found keeping nanos is that if you put to much waterflow it is hard to keep your corals stationary so i too try to keep it around 10x my 46 i have about 20x

if they are loosing feathers it usually means they are stressed how old is your tank and what are the water parameters

the way the stand is made a 10 gallon is the biggest i can put under it and that leaves about enough room for skimmer return pump and heater
