One of my Mushrooms is trying to commit suicide, he moved and now he is stuck in my filter system tube! I turned off the filter and removed the tube and I cannot get him out and he is shrinking away. Any advise is needed real quick. Oh and please do not tell me to tear him out of there:(

Can you turn the skimmer off for a couple of days without any ill effect? Just added 40#'s of southdown about 3 weeks ago? I currently have no fish ( took them to the lfs) and 50#'s of lr and inverbrates?

My sisters 30 gallon fowlr tank, sand is lumpy and ideas why? she put agonite sand in there her tank has been up and running since 1999. She had a sand sifting star but it died. She checked her water everything is fine. So why is the sand lumpy??
