I've just replaced my Red Sea skimmer with an AquaC Remora and within 3 days I have noticed increased activity in my fish.
Particularly, my green chromis were extremely skiddish and lacking color - they are now swimming in the tank as a school (another new activity).
Has anyone else had similar...
Reading this post is kind of funny - instead of worrying what people call the fish, we ought to be happy that more people care about fish and their environments...
I agree... Make it yourself, or you can buy from a pet store - most will help you out. If you're fish only tap water can work fine in nashville (haven't lost a fish in 2 years).
Thanks for the thoughtful response.
I will do just that. Orkin said they will only be doing crevice injections at the baseboard indoors.
I'll let you know how it goes / what they do.
I have the Orkin man coming tomorrow. Any advice for the fish tank? Should I cover with saran wrap or a towel? The Orkin man should tell me more tomorrow prior to his start, but I wanted to get some input. They will be spraying on the baseboards of the house.
yes, it saturates the flakes and makes it easier on me (more the reason) so as not to worry about mixing things. Also when i travel, the roommates can just toss in a cube.
Heres what I do... I take all my frozen foods and dry foods, melt everything. Add a shot (literally) of tank watter. Add a cap of garlic (seachem). I let it sit for a while and then re-freeze the entire mixture into small ice cubes... feed 1-2 cubes a day.
I've got one... Real nice fish, very shy at first but pretty bold once acclimated.
Pretty neat to watch swim, as they can stop and hover on a dime... And they're eyes are always following you
Yes, anyone have more info... i put one in my refugium... havent seen much action... finally say a tentacle come out yesterday, but not much.
I don't have a lot of flow in the refugium, is this okay?
