I just built a 15gal that's going to be my first Nano Reef. My question is... Setup is a Skilter 250 and a Fluval 3 Submersable filter, 2 in LS, and 10 Lbs LR. It's on my night stand and is quite noisy. Can I shut off the Skilter and leave on the Fluval during the night...Or will there not be...

Does anyone know if a purple lobster will be ok with Emerald crabs, brittle stars, and pepermint shrimp. Also just added a General Star, I don't have corals yet... Waiting for my 300 gal tank to get here next week!

My pepermint shrimp ate mine... I've seen people whos shrimp wont' touch them.. I think the key is you got to have a large one.. Out of the 3.. the Largest was the one to go after it. The 2 smaller were to scared..
