What do you have for trade.I am getting rid of my softies to go strictly sps so i don't want to trade for more softies.

It almost looked like the start of velvet to me.If thats the case,the only way to treat the fish is copper and let the tank sit without fish for 6 to 8 weeks to make sure it dies off. If the tank is untreatable with copper do to invertebrates.

I have never had much luck with anything less then metal halides for anemones and I also feed vitamin enriched frozen mysis everyday with excellent results with good water quality of course

That is one nice lookin tank.Here I thought I had alot of fish in my 400(16 including half a dozen tangs) but you got me beat.I have a 2 inch Hippo and about a 6 inch sailfin and they turned out to be best friends.Do all of your tangs get along and hangout together or do you notice certain ones...

Just use super glue.It won't harm them and if you have any RTNing at the base cover it all up with the glue it should keep it from advancing on up the coral.

A colt coral is a finger leather.This looks like the genus Cladiella sp. which some people also refer as colt coral.Just exactly what genus constitutes the "real" colts is open to debate,But there are actually four separate genera to which the designation "colt coral" is assigned

Yes it is true.If you get part of the stem too it will attach and grow quicker then if you just cut the crown.also if you have some cool different colored ones,cut them all in the same bowl and squeeze the water out and then let them soak for about 10 or fifteem minutes to absorb the water back...
